Avengers Endgame TV Spot proves Thanos' plan to save the universe Failed

infinity war thanos

The first Avengers Endgame trailer displayed how the remaining Avengers are dealing with the after-effects of the Snap. And the latest released Avengers Endgame TV Spot featured the situation of the world after the Decimation. As per Thanos’ plan for the betterment of the universe, taking away half of all life was supposed to settle and secure the future of the universe. The result should have been blissful for everybody. That’s how he envisioned the world post-Snap.

But the footage in the 30-second clip narrated how the world actually is, post-Snap. It showed us that the world has entered a state of regression. It has destabilized everything with the countries and the entire world, arguably, facing a crisis. It’s chaos. What is this if not proof that Thanos’ masterplan to save the universe has failed.

So, this means that the fan theories which speculated that this would happen are finally deemed true. The question is what follows now. Now, Thanos would obviously be aware of how his Snap didn’t clean the universe and instead directed it towards a path of destruction. He would take responsibity for all this, I’d say. He would acknowledge all this and this might lead him to, as some fan theories claim, to join the Avengers to undo his own Snap.

This would take the villain away from the movie, yes, it will. But that’s where the greater threat that is supposed to arise in the movie gets thrown into the mix. This greater threat could be fought by the Avengers, who now would have Thanos on their side too.

But this would demolish how Marvel has been setting Thanos as the biggest bad from the very start of the MCU. So, let’s see how the Russos have planned the Endgame.

The Russos reveal why Dr. Strange didn't tell anyone of his 'Endgame' Plan

None of the new Avengers played as big an imperative role as Doctor Strange did in this year's blockbuster movie, Infinity War.

Using the power of the Time Stone, he was able to peep in the future events and find out which one led them to victory. In one of 14 million plus futures he looked at, the Avengers won against the Mad Titan. Doctor Strange informs that there is only a certain way they can win this battle against Thanos. But he does not tell them the way the future events are supposed to happen in order for them to defeat their greatest adversary.

And the climax of the movie saw Doctor Strange turning into dust, right after informing Tony “there was no other way.” So, this gets us the idea that for the Avengers to win, they need to lose first.

Avengers Endgame - The Hand on Tony's Shoulder belongs to this Dead Character and not Nebula

The very first Avengers Endgame trailer featured a brief shot which showed someone’s hand on Tony’s shoulder. This was, of course, believed to be Nebula’s hand since Tony was only Nebula to keep him company until he reaches back on Earth. Then the international trailer was released which offered a wider look at the same scene and it did seem to confirm that the hand indeed belonged to Nebula.

But some Redditor has microscopically examined this very scene and has come up with the conclusion that the hand does not belong to Nebula. It actually belongs to someone who is believed to be dead in the MCU. As per this fan theory, the hand that rests on Tony’s shoulder belongs to the Goddess of Death, Hela!!
As pointed out by this theory, “If you look closely at the hand, it has black fingernails. If you are a true fan, you know Nebula doesn’t have black fingernails, so obviously, it can’t be her.” Upon careful…
