Avengers Endgame theory - Thor will go to Alfheim

Even though the first trailer and the latest released TV spot at the recently concluded Super Bowl didn’t offer much of the movie’s plot. The main thing we can deduce from both these clips is that the remaining Avengers are trying to cope up with the aftermaths of the Snap and they finally have a plan to apparently stop The Mad Titan and undo the Decimation.

But surely this isn’t going to stop fans from formulating and posting their theories. The theory you will be made familiar to today proposes Thor, the God of Thunder, going to the one place he has never gone to before on the big screen. I am talking about the realm of the home of the Light Elves – Alfheim.

The Redditor ‘Mushbert’ states that we have seen Thor visiting 8 of the total 9 realms in the whole universe. The 8 realms he has been to are mentioned below -

Midgard ( Earth)
Jotunheim ( Home of the Frost Giants)
Svartalfheim ( Home of the Dark Elves)
Vanaheim ( This is the place we see at the beginning of The Dark World)
Nidavellir ( We saw this one in Infinity War)
Niflheim ( Land of the Dead ruled by Hela)
Muspelheim ( Land of Surtur and the Fire Demons)

That concludes the eight realms. Only one is left to debut in the MCU -  Alfheim, Home of the Light Elves. Considering how Thor is unlikely to be given another solo movie in the MCU and Avengers Endgame is probably Chris Hemsworth’s last outing as Thor, we can expect to see this realm in the upcoming Avengers Endgame.

As per this theory, some of the ways Thor would go to visit this realm are –

1. He is the protector of the nine realms, stands to reason he could go to check up on this place after The Snap.
2. The surviving Asgardians are taking refuge in this realm.
3. Thor could visit this place to summon the Light Elves to fight for him.

Some fan theories believe that Dr. Selvif’s chalkboard wasn’t just meaningless and would present a greater and a deeper meaning in the Endgame. On this chalkboard too, Alfheim was mentioned.
What do you think about this theory?

The Russos reveal why Thanos couldn't stop Stormbreaker

Infinity War had many breathtaking moments. One of them was when Thor, in his God mode, hurled his Stormbreaker towards Thanos and it turns out that event the Infinity Gauntlet could not stop the God’s weapon. It went on to pierce through the Gauntlet’s power and finally impaled Thanos’ chest. This presented a question to many fans. We couldn’t help but wonder as to why the Gauntlet couldn’t stop the Stormbreaker. The Gauntlet is supposed to be the most powerful object in the universe.

At the Infinity War screening, the Russos answered some questions relating to Infinity War. The duo was asked if Stormbreaker was indeed more powerful than the Gauntlet. They answered, “It certainly has the ability to counteract the Infinity Gauntlet.” The answer then went on to explain why the Thanos couldn’t stop the Stormbreaker with the Infinity Gauntlet. Anthony Russo stated, “I think that key moment, though, is that Thanos…

The Russos reveal why Dr. Strange didn't tell anyone of his 'Endgame' Plan

None of the new Avengers played as big an imperative role as Doctor Strange did in this year's blockbuster movie, Infinity War.

Using the power of the Time Stone, he was able to peep in the future events and find out which one led them to victory. In one of 14 million plus futures he looked at, the Avengers won against the Mad Titan. Doctor Strange informs that there is only a certain way they can win this battle against Thanos. But he does not tell them the way the future events are supposed to happen in order for them to defeat their greatest adversary.

And the climax of the movie saw Doctor Strange turning into dust, right after informing Tony “there was no other way.” So, this gets us the idea that for the Avengers to win, they need to lose first.

At the recent Infinity War screening, the Directors were asked why Doctor Strange did not feel like sharing his plan with the rest of the group, especially Tony. The …

Avengers Endgame - The Hand on Tony's Shoulder belongs to this Dead Character and not Nebula

The very first Avengers Endgame trailer featured a brief shot which showed someone’s hand on Tony’s shoulder. This was, of course, believed to be Nebula’s hand since Tony was only Nebula to keep him company until he reaches back on Earth. Then the international trailer was released which offered a wider look at the same scene and it did seem to confirm that the hand indeed belonged to Nebula.

But some Redditor has microscopically examined this very scene and has come up with the conclusion that the hand does not belong to Nebula. It actually belongs to someone who is believed to be dead in the MCU. As per this fan theory, the hand that rests on Tony’s shoulder belongs to the Goddess of Death, Hela!!
As pointed out by this theory, “If you look closely at the hand, it has black fingernails. If you are a true fan, you know Nebula doesn’t have black fingernails, so obviously, it can’t be her.” Upon careful…
