One thing that bothered us all after Infinity War, was the reason Hulk wouldn’t come out to take over and help defeat the bad guys. Given we had all seen Hulk being a part of the final battle in Wakanda in the Infinity War trailer, we all expected him to come out and provide some help. But turns out the Russos deliberately did that to lead us onto a stray path.
The reason the Russo brothers have provided for Hulk’s refusal to Banner is that he feels unwanted since Banner turns to him only when is he faces a dire situation. The directors ruled out Hulk being scared of Thanos as any part of the refusal.
But many fan theories argued this point differently, with some even stating that Banner was actually Loki in disguise. The latest one said that Hulk was ashamed. But now another theory implies that Banner was too happy and that’s why Hulk didn’t come out.
This theory points out the amazing scene we witnessed in The Avengers where Banner joins in with the rest of the Avengers and reveals the trick he uses to call in Hulk. “I’m always angry.” Then we witness his mammoth strength level when he stops that alien ship charging towards him with just a punch.
Banner has since then become a part of a group which cares for him. I mean, his actual self and not that they need him because of his green-guy alter ego. He is also in love with Black Widow and she fancies him too.
This theory says that this is the reason Banner had trouble turning to Hulk when he jumps off the ship in Thor: Ragnarok.
The full dose of the theory is right below. Tap into it and deliver your thoughts below.
