The latest in the fan theory section regarding Infinity War notes that there was a slight plot hole in the movie regarding Ironman’s suit. You would remember that when Spiderman is on Ebony Maw’s spaceship, Tony commands Friday to release 17-A suit. This was the Iron Spider suit that we saw a little glimpse of in SpiderMan: Homecoming.

But a fan has noted a rather cunning detail in the scene where the 17-A suit is deployed and delivered to Peter. We all see Spiderman’s suit flying at a very high speed and it easily outpaces the Ironman’s suit. This theory asks why Tony didn’t use that booster in his own suit.
The theory goes, “When Tony is trying to catch up with Peter, as he is going into space on Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian’s ship, why is the rocket carrying the Iron Spider suit so much faster than Tony’s Mark 50 suit? The Russo brother confirmed that this was the best Tony’s tech will ever get, but he didn’t equip his most advanced suit with his fastest rockets?”

Well, this certainly is not a big plot hole or anything that upsets the franchise or character arcs or anything. It is just a little irregularity.
But some fans have argued that the reason Spiderman’s suit flew faster was that it didn’t have a human being inside it. Some other fan said that maybe the human body couldn’t for some reason survive if the suit went at that flashing speed.
In Infinity War, both Ironman and Spiderman got their suit upgrades. They both have highly advanced nanotech suits. Ironman is rumored to come up with another advanced suit in Avengers Endgame but nothing has been confirmed regarding that. The concept arts show that the new Ironman suit would only incur some slight design changes and that’s all.
