Although, it appears that she died at the hands of Surtur at the end of Thor: Ragnarok, fans have always been suspicious if she is actually dead. After all, she is the Goddess of Death and we didn’t really see her succumbing to her death in the movie.
Just like Red Skull made a surprise entry in Infinity War, Hela could also have at least a cameo in the Avengers: Endgame.
And thanks to the findings and observations of the Redditor ‘MelodicBeginning’, we now have proof of her being possibly involved in Avengers 4.
I’ll get into the main point of the theory later. First, take a look at the below-attached photo.
Now, this above image represents Cate Blanchett discussing Thor: Ragnarok. This still is from a behind the scenes bonus video that was included with the movie. But you should note here that the set behind Blanchett had nothing to do with Thor: Ragnarok. The statue behind her is from Durham Cathedral. This same statue is also confirmed to be a part of Avengers 4. The Avengers 4 set image featuring this statue is shown below.
Now to the main point of the theory. In the Wanda induced Thor’s vision in Age of Ultron, the above statue was seen. Now this theory says that Thor’s vision is showing Valhalla, deducing from Heimdall’s words in this scene, “We are all dead.” In the same scene, Heimdal then says that Thor is “leading us to Hel”.
This theory says that in Avengers Endgame, Thor will make a journey to Hel where he will then meet Hela. Proof of Hela being involved in Avengers 4 has been given above already.
If you want to have a go at the full theory, be my guest. It’s right below.
