The Infinity War trailers had us misguided about Hulk being a part of the final Wakanda battle in the movie. As we all learned, it was a CGI trick employed by the Russo Brothers to lead us astray. In the actual movie, Hulk’s role was no more than a cameo.
Fans are yet wondering to know as to why Hulk actually abandoned Bruce. When summoned, the Hulk had a clear-cut and a straightforward reply – “Noooo”.
The Russos have made it clear that Hulk is not afraid of Thanos, as was the common notion among the fans.
Hulk will now evolve to Professor Hulk in the upcoming Avengers: Endgame, if the leaked concept arts are any proof. This would solve the mistake Hulk did in the fight with Thanos. As per the Russos, Thanos won because his moves were calculated and Hulk only expressed aggression and rage. With the introduction of Professor Hulk, the rematch would be so worth it.
Youtuber Ryan Walsh predicts how Hulk would fare in his rematch. This guy’s theory notes that Hulk would be revealed to be the Strongest Avenger in the movie.
Here’s what he has to say, “If we look at Infinity War we didn’t really see Hulk all that much. Hulk is scared to come out of Bruce Banner and I feel like we’re actually going to be getting a Hulk that in Avengers 4 he’s going to be completely different. He is going to be extremely powerful. I think that actually Hulk is going to be the Strongest Avenger and he will prove it in Avengers 4 when he becomes the World Breaker Hulk.”
He further remarked, “How cool would it be to see Hulk glow completely green and actually just destroy Thanos in a fight – that would be awesome to see.”
There’s also a theory that claims that Janet would be responsible in striking a truce between Banner and Hulk which would result in the birth of Professor Hulk. But Janet’s dust now. She’s definitely going to come back like all the others. Here’s the link to that theory if you’d like to take a look.
