Following the mediocre reviews and box office collection of Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Justice League was supposed to even the plane. But unfortunately, it was termed even worse than BvS. The movie became the butt of all jokes because of Henry Cavill’s mustache CGI. The movie was merely 2 hours long and did not involve anything interesting. The film was a critical and commercial failure. The fans pinned it on Joss Whedon who made significant chunks of changes to Zack Snyder’s original plan. Ever since that, Snyder makes certain revelations about the original plans he had for the plan. This led fans to sign up a petition demanding the Snyder cut to be released.
You could always tell which scene was Whedon’s. The clearly noticeable mustache CGI was helpful in telling which scenes were reshot. The entire climax scene was also from the mind of Whedon. Recently, a fan noticed a particular scene in the Bluray extras of the movie. The scene showed the Justice League gathered around and noticing something above them. This was not in the movie, so the fan took to Vero to ask Snyder about this. Snyder obliged to this query and replied, “it’s from the end looking in to a boom tube”
DC’s biggest villain, Darkseid was going to have a cameo role in Snyder’s script of the movie. Fans now believe that this scene had something to do with Darkseid on Apokolips. The villain of the movie was also terribly CGI-d and wasn’t intimidating at all. I thought he looked like some shepherd. The Snyder cut also featured Superman in his black suit. It’s a shame that none of this made into the theatrical cut. Justice League 2 has been canceled and the studio will now focus on solo movies only. The next from DC is Aquaman. Recently, Wonder Woman 2’s release date got delayed and the movie will now come out in 2020.
