Soon enough the original Avengers will bid goodbye to their roles. These roles will pass onto other Avengers. Captain America’s role of leading the team shall fall on the shoulders of Captain Marvel. We will see her leading the Avengers into battle in Phase 4. And this time the Captain of the team will be the strongest of them all. Kevin Feigi had earlier told us that She is the future of the MCU and she is the strongest and most powerful superhero they have by far put on screen. Her strength and powers will be put to test when she gets face to face with The Mad Titan. And let’s not forget that Thanos will be holding all the Infinity stones right on his hand. Lately, the leaked concept arts of the weopons of the superheroes have made their way to the internet.
And now it is being suspected that the strongest Avenger, Captain Marvel, will wield a double bladed axe in her fight against Thanos. This speculation comes from Marvel News Asia. It’s not like she need a weapon to fight anyone, but a weapon always helps. Just like Stormbreaker helped Thor in Infinity War. In the comics, once our Avengers gained access to a threshold of Asgardian weapons. So, it is possible that in Avengers 4, Captain Marvel would wield an axe, albeit its source of origin might be changed. Have a look below.
Recently enough, Thor’s Stormbreaker concept art was leaked and it looked deadlier in the image. Thanos’ double-edged sword also was leaked some time prior. The first trailer of Avengers 4 should provide us with enough information. There is a possibility that we might not get to see Captain Marvel in the first trailer. But she will come around. And her being in the trailers would also promote her solo movie coming out next year. Let’s see how Marvel plans to go on. Avengers 4 opens up next year after Captain Marvel.
