With the Disney-Fox merger on the brink of happening, X-men and Fantastic Four characters will fall back into Marvel’s lap. And Marvel can then merge these great characters with their existing Superheroes. But the question is how these new superheroes will be introduced into the MCU. Well, it’s Marvel’s part to figure that out but fans are too much excited for this to happen and that is why they have come up with these theories concerning that. The latest theory by a Reddit user tells us that the Fantastic Four are already present in the MCU.
This theory says that during the late 1950’s to mid-1960’s, SHIELD and Howard Stark wanted to explore space in hope of getting their hands on something that might help in the advancement of science and weaponry. So, they recruit four astronauts ( Fantastic Four-to-be) for their mission. But just like any space adventure, things take a turn for the worse. Their spacecraft would be hit by some cosmic wave and this will grant them their powers. But this wave will send them to the Negative Zone. And time in the Negative Zone is way different than it is on Earth. For the sake of assumption, let’s say by the time one year passes in the Negative Zone, a decade passes on Earth. And for the villain, this theory assumes, Fantastic Four will face Annihilus since he rules the Negative Zone. And this would perfectly why they are absent in the MCU.
Fox has done these characters no justice and that reboot; oh that is just the worst superhero movie ever. Well, here’s to hoping that Marvel will give us awesome movies involving these characters whilst also maintaining the current success they have with the already present superheroes.
