In Thor: Ragnarok, it was revealed to us that the Infinity Gauntlet in Odin’s vault was a fake. This led many to question, why would Odin keep a fake Gauntlet in his vault? Although there has been no clarification on this matter from Marvel, an old fan theory did provide a deep explanation behind this. This old theory was given by a Redditor, in which he elaborately explains how Odin was the first one to go after all the Infinity Stones and during his journey, he commissioned the Dwarfs of Nidavellir to make a Gauntlet for him. The Dwarfs first made him a fake gauntlet as a test-fit. But then Odin learned about the sacrifice the Soul Stone requires. But sacrificing his beloved daughter was beyond him. And that’s when he stopped being a conqueror and started being a just King. ( Here’s the full theory - Theory explains why Odin had a Fake Gauntlet in his vault )
Another Reddit user ‘KRHeff’ has come up with a new theory, which is a derivative of the above theory, argues that Odin successfully managed to amass all the Stones. This theory professes that Odin got the Soul Stone, after sacrificing and banishing Hela to Hel. And after this, he managed to collect the rest of the Stones too. He then used the powers of the Stones to bring peace and prosperity around the Nine Realms. Now, after that, he couldn’t see any more use to these Stones and decided to scatter them around different places in the universe. And after all these years, Thanos also managed to grasp all the Stones and used them for the betterment of the Universe.
And this does not conclude the chapter of the Infinity Stones, for Avengers 4 is yet to arrive. It comes out on May 3, 2019. If you wanna stay updated with the articles, click the Subscribe button or Like my FB page ( These articles will be shared over there)
