Fan finds Easter egg conncecting Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger

Marvel’s 10-year cinematic run has been just perfect. With the exception of a few movies, all has been great for Marvel. It is really remarkable that Marvel pays a lot of attention to even the smallest details in their movies. There are so many well-placed easter eggs and a careful foreshadowing of future events in the Marvel movies. One such easter egg connecting Thor and Captain America: The first Avengers has recently been dug up by a fan. The funny thing is that it took a considerable time to locate this connection. Who knows what more is there inside the MCU that has yet to surprise us.

Reddit user ‘comrade_batman’ has noticed that the town where the Tesseract is found by Red Skull in Captain America: The First Avenger is the same place where Odin fought the Frost Giants. Have a look at the image below. You might even remember that during that scene, Red Skull even takes Odin’s name. If memory serves me right, he says that the Tesseract was the jewel of Odin’s vault. And just below this post, another user gave us a fun fact. He mentioned that Tonsberg is the oldest town in Norway. And about 1100 years ago, it was founded by Vikings. I personally love these little details that such movies harbor.
